Google Sheets is a flexible go-to for many teams, whether you're tracking customers, logging transactions, or managing internal workflows. Stripe is your source of truth for everything billing and payments.

If you use Google Sheets to manage customer info or operational tasks and Stripe to handle payments or subscriptions, syncing the two helps you bring real-time billing data into your spreadsheets, automatically and without manual copy-pasting.

In this post, we’ll show you how to connect and sync Google Sheets and Stripe in five minutes.

Let’s begin.

Why should you connect Google Sheets to Stripe?

Connecting Google Sheets and Stripe allows you to pull billing and payment data directly into your spreadsheet. That means your team can monitor payment status, subscription activity, or revenue data in a simple, collaborative interface.

Since the sync is one-way (Stripe → Google Sheets), you can’t push data back into Stripe, but you can use the synced data for reporting, customer tracking, or internal dashboards.

This setup reduces manual errors, increases team visibility, and brings Stripe insights to where your team already works.

When should you connect Google Sheets and Stripe?

Here are a few common scenarios where connecting the two makes sense:

  • You use Sheets to manage customers or operations: Sync subscription or payment data into your Google Sheet to monitor billing cycles, failed payments, or user churn.
  • You need visibility into Stripe data without giving Stripe access: Teams can track payments and subscriptions in Sheets, without needing logins to your Stripe dashboard.
  • You’re building dashboards or models in Sheets: Get live Stripe data for reporting, forecasting, and internal tools without manual exports or an API.
