Deletes now wait for your approval

May 5, 2026
Whalesync changelog

Now every delete waits for your yes. When a sync would remove records on the other side, Whalesync holds those deletes in an approval queue instead of running them. You review what is about to go, then approve it, so a sync can never quietly wipe data while you are not looking.

Delete approvals are on by default for new syncs. It is the safety net that makes a big two-way sync something you can set up and leave running.
