Feature
Whalesync Status WordPress plugin
October 9, 2026

Whalesync Status WordPress plugin. We made a new, small, plugin for WordPress that shows the sync status of your Posts in the dashboard.
Also this week
- Installing Whalesync from the Webflow Marketplace opens a new sync with the Webflow connect dialog ready to go, after sign-up if you're new.
- The web app is faster. Efficiency improvements for faster loading.
- API keys are hidden as you type them, with an eye toggle to show them. Same for database connection strings and the WordPress application password. Password managers also stop offering to save your connector keys.
- Initial sync flags records it can't match. If the match field has the same value on more than one record in a table, or no value at all, the review card turns yellow, says how many can't be matched, and lists them per side with what to do. Activate waits until you tick "Continue anyway", so duplicates don't quietly turn into extra copies.
- Copper connector polish.
- Airtable attachments and Notion files syncing into WordPress or Sanity media are copied to our file hosting first, so a delayed or retried upload still works. Images in Notion page content synced to WordPress get stable URLs too.
- Files a source serves without a proper type are named by what they actually are (
.jpg,.pdf, …), so WordPress accepts them. - The Initialize New Fields buttons only change the columns listed in the dialog.
- Live Export keeps reference fields you ticked, like Gong's call Host and HubSpot's associated companies.
- Partners get credit when someone they referred adds a card to their free trial.
- A brand-new account's first page load could fail with an error.
- Visiting
/v2redirected to itself.
