Announcing the Whalesync Wix CMS connector
At Whalesync, our goal is to help marketers and teams publish dynamic content easily and efficiently. Today, I’m excited to announce the launch of our Wix CMS connector, a step that brings us closer to that goal.
Why we decided to build this
Since we launched our Webflow connector, we’ve heard a growing request from our community: “Can you support Wix?”. Wix powers millions of sites worldwide.
Many of these users rely on the Wix CMS to manage dynamic content, blogs, product catalogs, portfolios, directories, and more. But until now, there hasn’t been a simple way to connect Wix CMS with other tools like Airtable or Notion.
We built this connector to close that gap.
What this means for us at Whalesync
Supporting Wix is more than just adding another connector, it’s about expanding our ability to serve creators, startups, and solopreneurs that want control over their content without technical barriers.
This launch also reinforces our belief that dynamic content belongs everywhere. Whether you’re building a directory in Airtable, writing in Notion, that data should sync instantly to your website, without manual copy-pasting or stitching multiple integrations together.
What is the Wix CMS connector?
The Wix CMS connector lets you sync data between Wix’s built-in Content Management System (CMS) and your other tools like Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets, Supabase, PostgreSQL, etc.
Here’s what that means in practice:
- Wix CMS is the database that powers dynamic pages on Wix sites, things like blog posts, product catalogs, real estate listings, restaurant menus, directories, portfolios, etc.
- With the Whalesync Wix CMS connector, you can:
- Add or update content in your tool of choice, like Airtable or Notion
- Sync those changes into Wix CMS (and vice versa, if you want two-way sync) instantly.
- Your Wix site’s dynamic pages update instantly
